Rowena is a 39-year-old single mother of three children, aged 18, 13, and 11 years old. She hails from Guinayanangan, located in the province of Quezon, Philippines. She is a high school graduate and has a basic to good command of the English language, allowing her to speak, understand, and communicate effectively in daily conversations.

As a mother, Rowena is responsible, patient, and hardworking, having hands-on experience in managing a household and caring for children of different ages. She is familiar with daily routines such as supervising children’s activities, preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness at home, and ensuring the overall well-being of her family. Rowena is willing to learn, flexible in her duties, and dedicated to providing proper care and support to those under her responsibility.

From 2019 to 2022, Rowena worked in Saudi Arabia as a domestic helper, serving an Arabic family with four children who were already grown-ups. Her employer resided in a two-story house with six rooms and five toilets.

Rowena worked together with three other helpers in the household. Her main responsibilities included general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning bedrooms, and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas. She was also in charge of laundry duties, which involved washing clothes, drying, folding, and organising them properly. In addition, she handled ironing, ensuring that the family’s clothes were neatly pressed and well-arranged.

Through this experience, Rowena developed strong time management skills, teamwork, and attention to detail in maintaining a large household. She learned how to follow her employer’s instructions carefully and perform her tasks efficiently while working harmoniously with co-workers.

From 2024 to 2025, she worked in Abu Dhabi as a domestic helper and served an Arabic family with a 6-month-old baby. The employer lived in a 2-story, spacious house with 2 rooms and 2 toilets. She was the only helper in the household, so she was fully responsible for both childcare and household management.

Her main duty was taking care of the baby, which included daily bathing, changing diapers, preparing and sterilizing feeding bottles, making milk according to proper instructions, and putting the baby to sleep. She also ensured the baby’s safety at all times, monitored sleeping and feeding schedules, and provided attentive care to support the child’s comfort and well-being.

In addition to childcare, she handled all general household chores independently. These included maintaining the cleanliness of the house through daily sweeping, mopping, and organizing, as well as doing the laundry, ironing clothes, and cooking meals for the family. She managed her time efficiently to balance both childcare responsibilities and household duties, ensuring that the home was well-maintained while the baby received proper care and attention.
