From 2016 to 2019, Nelma worked in Malaysia for a Chinese family living in a 4-story house with 3 bedrooms and 5 toilets. As the sole helper, she was responsible for all household chores, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, simple cooking, and looking after a dog.

From 2020 to 2021, she returned to Malaysia to work for another Chinese family in a condominium with 3 bedrooms and 3 toilets. This time, her main duties were focused on childcare for a 4-month-old baby girl and a 5-year-old girl. In addition to caring for the children, she also managed cleaning, cooking, and ironing.

In 2023 and 2024, Nelma also gained experience in Kuwait, working for a Muslim family with 5 adult children (3 girls aged 16, 21, and 22, and 2 boys aged 14 and 18) in a 2-story house with 3 bedrooms and 4 toilets.
