Experience in Jordan (2021 - 2023)

• Mariday worked for a Muslim family in Jordan for 2 years. When she arrived, her employer had two children, aged 12 and 7. A year into her employment, her employer gave birth to a newborn, whom Mariday cared for until her contract ended. Her duties included bathing, feeding, preparing formula milk, changing diapers, dressing, and monitoring the baby. Additionally, she prepared food and school materials for the two older children. Mariday also managed household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Although there was a cook employed separately to assist the employer’s mother, Mariday was the sole helper in a 3-story house with 4 rooms and 4 toilets.
